ABOUT OUR PASTOR

Pastor Rudy Abrot married Rebecca Frias in January of 1983. Shortly after their marriage, his wife first got saved after attending a Baptist Church in a small town in the Philippines. Thereafter, after attending a number of services through his wife's invitation, Pastor Abrot accepted Christ on May of 1984.

Rudy Abrot was a businessman for seventeen and a half years in the Philippines. While in business he was serving as a layman in his church. Being involved in various ministry capacities, Pastor Abrot heeded the call to go to Baptist Bible College in the Philippines.

     After finishing three semesters, he migrated to the United Sates in 1999 with his wife and children having the burden to reach his parents and brothers who migrated years ahead of him. Pastor Abrot became the assistant pastor of the Filipino Ministry of Faith Baptist Church in  Canoga Park, California at the same time attending West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, California. While in college, he was led to start the Filipino Ministry of Bethel Baptist Church in Torrance, California. After graduating from West Coast Baptist College, he moved down to Torrance and started Bethel Baptist Church of Harbor City on December of 2002. Under his pastorate, the church has grown to an aggressive soul winning and missions minded church. They are currently on a building project for a brand new facility in the City of Carson, California. God blessed the Abrot Family with two daughters, two sons and three grandchildren.
