Pastor Rudy Abrot

Pastor Rudy Abrot has been married to Rebecca Frias for over 30 years. After attending services through his wife's invitation, Pastor Abrot accepted Christ on May of 1984. Pastor Rudy Abrot was a businessman for 18 years. While in business, he was serving as a layman in his church and was involved in various ministry in his local church. After he enrolled in West Coast Bible College, he became the assistant pastor of the Filipino Ministry of Faith Baptist Church in Canoga Park, CA. After graduating from West Coast Baptist College, he moved down to Torrance and started Bethel Baptist Church of Harbor City on December of 2002.

In the summer of 2000, God began to do something miraculous. He called a business man and his family, gave him a vision, and placed a burning desire in his heart to labor in the South bay area of California. During a warm sunny day in the month of May, in a small room no bigger than our current fellowship hall, Pastor Rudy Abrot and his family welcomed 16 people into the first worship service.
